The bear paw on her shoulder is the simplified version of the tattoo I have on the same shoulder in real life.

The tattoo is very important to me because it's the symbol of my Papa Bear.

He passed away October 2nd of last year. The next day, I had to do something to express how much a missed and loved him. He was a Grizzly Bear, paws down. He was goofy at times, but he made it known when he was serious. Dad always knew how to win an arguement, no matter the subject. Such a logical man, my father.

When I brought male friends over and they would see my dad, their postier would automatically correct and they'd be the most polite boys on the block. Even though my dad's gone, I'm still learning about him. Which I find awesome, because with that I feel him near by. And with my mark, it's to remind me and my family that he's always on our backs, watching over us.
