Protea stands for change and transformation. It signifies daring and resourcefulness. It is symbolic of diversity and courage.
Do you ever just think MAN WHAT DID I DO (hAVE I DONE? I HAVEN'T HAD AN ENGLISH LESSON IN YEARS I'M CONFUSED)TO DESERVE MY FRIENDS
So yeah, I'm terribly busy with commissions and trades, but I'm also so excited for our meeting. And I had to draw this.
Thank you.

A lovely vivid piece of work, very attractive.
While I remember since I don't think I showed you, LINK, got these float mounted and framed, they look great together, thank you again ^^
Just for the record "what did I do to deserve my friends/friends like these?" and "what have I done to deserve my friends/friends like these?" are both acceptable, although there is a difference. "Did" implies the action has ended, "have" implies the action continues to affect the present.
So while the vast majority of people don't care and won't know the difference so you could use either, if you REALLY wanted to be pedantic, and you are still friends with this person/these people, you'd say "have done" not "did do" (and yes, I did just look this up because I was curious X'D)

Thanks for the explanation, but as a native speaker here, I can say that most English speakers would discern absolutely no difference between the two. Don't worry Jagal, your English seems perfect to me! I'm sorry that there are some grey areas in English. Or... maybe it's just me, but I've actually tried to teach English before, and I had the hardest time trying to clarify the difference between simple past and... "present perfect". There's just such a small difference in some cases- just like the confusion you had here.
Yes, and as a Briton I'm fairly sure I stated that in my message that no one is going to care?
Jagal asked a question, and I answered it, their use of the words is fine, as I said, but if they were interested I had some additional information. I don't see them being upset by this fact? And they don't have to use it if they don't want to, like the majority of casual English speakers.
My comment was not directed at you, so I don't know why you're 'thanking' me for a message directed at someone else. Believe it or not, answering a question about language use is not a criticism of their grasp on the English language, their usage of which is more than fine, but I'm not going to leave someone confused just because they're doing okay anyway, there's nothing wrong with clarification and I'm not sure why you felt the need to add on to this.

AAAAH GUYS, don't worry, everything is 100% ok!!!
That's exactly the reply I needed, thank you so much for explaining it to me! That's what I've learned at school, actually, if I was still learning...I'd definitely go for present perfect...But like you said, native speakers don't care about it as much as workbooks, I guess? So when I focused on talking with people instead of learning I got some things mixed up. :'D but that's fascinating to know it's not really that important for you! I was always sure these rules are very strict and you don't ever mix these up. HONESTLY, I had no idea, our teachers put so much focus? Pressure? On that? I was sure it's very important.
Thank you so much for explaining that to me!!!
Also, Oh myyy, thank you so much for all compliments! And the works look so professional in frames, I can't believe this ; _; I don't deserve such treatment, haha! Thank you so much, it really means a lot to me ; _ ;

You're welcome ^^ There's people out there who might get picky about it, but honestly most people wouldn't even know you weren't 100% grammatically correct (they might feel it sounds weird, but probably wouldn't know why or think about it beyond that, you know?), I love knowing about this kind of thing, but even I'm pretty lazy in every day speech/writing.
I'm really lucky to have a great framer/printer near me I can trust to mount artwork as well as it deserves honestly!

No i kwiaty...! <3

Aaaaah, dziękuję!!!! Bardzo mi miło ;_;
Trochę tego, trochę tego, tak naprawdę!! Ciągle czekam na to, aż uzbieram na Photoshopa, więc obecnie z braku ciekawych teksturowych opcji w digitalu staram się używać jak najwięcej tych tradycyjnych. :'D dlatego starałam się jak najmniej zamalować tradycyjną, ołówkową bazę! Przez to niestety nie wyrenderowalam tego do końca, ale zależało mi na tym charakterze. ;_;
Bardzo dziękuję!! Rysowałam ją już tyle razy, że zawsze staram się wymyślić coś nowego!! Aaaach, tak miło. Dziękuję!! ;_;

Beautiful work!
By the way, I find it rather ironic that protea stands for change and transformation.... The genus Protea belongs to a rather old branch of angiosperm (though more modern compared to the likes of waterlilies and magnolias), and retains many ancient characteristics; they are more of a remnant of a bygone era.
