i don't have, use or want facebook, but i am going to blfc, it being my local con and one i could even walk to, though it would be a long walk. fortunately there's a transit bus right to the door every hour. i've even booked a room at the con hotel, something i don't do every year. and yes, both it and my con membership are fully pre-paid. illness or death would be the only thing likely to keep me away.
