An adorable little fox with a sentient tail~ Moss Spots was just his placeholder name, but I like it.

Moss Spots - Moss for short - is fully intelligent. He and his tail have separate parts of the same mind, allowing them to act independently without knowing each other's thoughts. Neither are capable of speech; the tail tries to imitate speech with guttural sounds. Moss is civil while his tail tends to test-bite things on first sight. Moss enjoys water and swimming. His tail does not need to breathe and has no jaw. Its 'eyes' are patches of sensory nerves.
