I got a new tablet today! I'm super excited! My little Intuos was nice and all, but it could only do so much for me, and I needed something with a screen so I could actually see where I was drawing. After saving up for a Cintiq and getting about halfway there, I found a very highly-reviewed alternative for half the price! I've only just started to test it out, but I'm already loving how natural the lines feel and how easy it is to actually make them go where I want them to go. I'm not sure if it's deliberate, or just a side-effect of how I'm using it differently, but it seems like the pressure sensitivity is calibrated to make the lines actually look like something you'd make with a real sable brush, which is super cool! I think this new thing will really help me to up my art game and start producing more things that I'm really proud of. I'm so excited! I can't wait to draw more with it!
