After rescuing his SO, Krystys, and pacifying a branch of the warring Thieves' Guild, Verin spent the next week on guard duty around the town, spending lots of time with Krystys, and shopping for something that would change their lives for the better. Verin had some idea that Krystys was making a suit of armor for him, but he had no idea what she was making. When she had completed the suit, she had him come put it on, though he had his eyes closed for it, so as to not ruin anything. When he saw the masterpiece of craftsmanship that he was presented with, he thanked Krystys by turning the gift of reunification and love into an engagement gift.
