I stood outside the door, hoping someone would answer it after knocking. Eventually, somebody did open the door. But it wasn't who I was expecting. The person who answered was a gray female wolf with a long pink dress, and ringlets on the back of her head. I recognized her as Daisy, Rick's wife. "Why, Bailey!" she said in a pleasant tone, "It's been so long. Wont you come in?" Not wanting to seem rude, I took her offer, and went inside.
I saw a plate of half eaten doughnuts on a table next to the table. "Looks like Rick's still having his fill." I thought to myself. "I suppose you're looking for my husband, aren't you?" said Daisy as she washed some of the dishes. I nodded my head. "Do you know where he is?" I asked. "He was over at the barn bringing out bails of hay." she answered.
I thanked her, and headed outside. It didn't take me long to find Rick. He was snoozing next to a hay bail, and was snoring loudly. He had his shirt completely unbuttoned, revealing his muscular furry chest.
I wiggled his toes to wake him up. He stopped snoring, and slowly opened one of his eyes. "Howdy, Bailey." he yawned, "Been a long time since we've seen each other." "Yes it was." I answered, smilingly. "So what brings you here?" he asked. "I wanted to see you. I figured after a long time away at home, I figured now is the time to see my favorite cowboy again."
Rick blushed at the fact he was my favorite cowboy. Then he grinned and asked, "Something tells me you're not just here to say howdy?" I blushed, and said, "Well...sort of.." Rick chuckled and said, "Well, it's great to see ya again, pardner. Here. Why don't ya snuggle with your favorite cowboy?"
I nodded slowly. Then I sat down beside him, and cuddled my head against his furry chest. Rick smiled, tipped his hat down, and went back to sleep. I went to sleep too, seeing how I was tired from travelling to Rick's house.
