Didn't hardly need it for this shot, this is all outdoors in good light. My old Panasonic would have done just as well to better here. :) If you want a very nice camera at a VERY reasonable price, check out the old Panasonic DMC-FZ8. It takes good photos, has RAW support, and a very good optical zoom for not much cash.

It does not work well (as with any digicam) in low light, but outdoors it works wonderfully.

i dont need a camera right now (and i dont have the money :P) but later on having a good cam is always a good thing! right now the crappy camera in my cellphone is more than i need :P

Eh, everyone starts somewhere. I started with a crappy little 1.3MP digicam, several years ago. :)
