So Moe finally caught on I was taking pictures and her face is one of shock and pay back where she will keep me up all night. I love my Moe she is my child seeing as I can't have my own. I've had Moe for 22 years I rescued her. Thankfully I went to the shelter that day seeing she was deemed unadoptable they were going to put her to sleep. I was looking at a cat under her and when I looked up and our eyes met I told them I would take her. They tried to talk me out of it seeing as her past made her not trusting humans. She was they only one to survive from the littler she was born to. The adults let their children toss throw and kill the kittens. Moe was only saved because the police were called about child abuse and they found Moe in a closet curled up and very frightened and she was injured as well. That made Moe the way she was. I told the shelter to let me spend time with her and they agreed. When the pulled her out of the cage she was fighting them so I took hold of her and she buried her head into my neck and her claws dug into my shirt. They were shocked about how she stopped fighting once she was in my arms so they let us be in a room alone together where they watched from the window outside the room. I put her on the floor and she ran to the other side and then I sat on the floor she paced and watched me for a good 20mins before coming over and laying in my lap purring and allowing me to pet her and embrace her a bit. The shelter people opened the door which caused her to cling to me and they told me I could take her seeing as I was the only one she warmed up to the entire time she was at the shelter. When we got her home I noticed she was scared of feet and for the first three nights she was to sleep in the bathroom to get her used to her surroundings and where her litter box was. I slept over night for those three nights in the bathroom with her. Then we moved to my room she had just turned 2 when we got her. Now she is 22 and soooo spoiled and that might be an understatement. When I'm sick or just upset she's there trying to make me feel better you can always find her laying on me and if she's worried or I got hurting she goes and gets someone to help me.

Adopting Moe was the best thing I could have done. I think adopting is the way to go all a shelter animal needs is to be shown was love really is. From here on out I will adopt my pets and maybe down the road to be a foster owner for them as well.

My Mor is my fur baby and I wouldn't have it anyother way.

OH! She is no longer scared of feet.
