Man oh man is this a blast from the past. This is straight out of 2007 back when I was still figuring out what the hell I was doing in school and wondering what I was trying to accomplish then.

I just now remembered I had these while driving around work today and thought "Holy CRAP I still have those! I should post them!"

I was taking this comic & sequential art class during the summer, I'd taken the class before hand (probably one of the greatest classes I ever had in my whole college experience) and the first scheduled assignment was simple:

Make a two-page layout of panels telling a story WITHOUT a single word of dialogue. The principle is even more simpler. Captivate the moments in your panels through actions and gestures and words easily appeal as emphasis, if not 'the icing on the cake' as it were.

Sure I could've made mine action oriented-- ass, boobs, blood, fighting, explosions and aggression all around. But did I? Nope... because that would've been too easy. Alot of people underestimate these kind of 'carefree moments'. I should try my hand at doing these again. It's been sooo long now it seems.
