Malak is an extremely proficient ex-member of a elite group of highly-skilled, military biotic turians known as Cabals. Malak left and went rogue due to his displeasure with the system in place and it's treatment of his kind, namely those who are proficient in biotics. People would cower in fear towards him like he was some sort of monster out to hurt them, even when adibing by all the normal conventions of what turian society had put him through. He wanders around the galaxy looking for somewhere where he can really do some good for people, but also cut loose and use his powers to their full extent. Maybe he'll even covince people that biotic turians can be trusted and don't have to be feared. Right now he operates on a solo basis, but who knows. If you're looking for someone of his...talents, he may be willing to join you if you so wish to recruit him. ;P
