Well, it's a tiny bit similare to loriet's story, ruler of an area/kindom, betrayed someone and changes sides. But with mine, my dragon will be having allot more trouble wth parting sides, and the story will slowly, eventually tell us of scorch's love interests( in my story, dragons can have multiple mates, up to 4. But No more afterwards
