Heh, the ones that were being tickled by machines were the ones I enjoyed imagining that were being tickle tortured by the digimon emperor from season 2. Being a dictator, he would have some enemies and victims to torture.
Here he probably captured Tai's agumon, and has him tortured for information, plus use him as bait for others to rescue him.
