I've gone through 13 different fursonas in my life and I a l w a y s struggle holding one down tbh.
I think it's because I just gradually turn them into a character without realising, rather than, ya know, myself.
I've had cats, wolves, daemons, hybrids, big cats, dragons, goats, and I'm currently looping back into just a regular cat.
I think I can hold down the current design, due to trying to keep it literal, so using my hair colours as fur, and instead of writing about personality, it's just me with a different skin.
Eh.
