Fuck them, mate. There's a lot of work out there for people who like to draw. Animation, for instance, illustration, and the like. Don't let that garbage shit make you abandon what you want to do. I made that mistake, and 20 years later, I keep regretting it. Just research, stay passionate, and doors will open.
