Tori was once placed on defence of a small village due to it being hit repeatedly by raiders and bandits who were becoming more and more ruthless and cruel, for several weeks Tori kept the peace and even bonded with the residents of the village. One night some bandits lured Tori away from the town into a part of the woods where the village couldn't be seen. Once she dispatched those bandits she returned to the village only to find it raining fire arrows and the village aflame. Seeing people she'd come to know and care for Tori snapped a little her spectral horns shifting from calm blue like they would normally be when she was calm, they instead became red, angry, and almost demonic or draconic in nature. In a flash Tori was charging the bandits and raiders with only carnage in mind. By morning she'd be the only one left standing amid the ruins of the village she'd tried to protect. That night forever burning itself in her mind and steeling her resolve to be a protector.
