This 3 inch fine glass vial contains a tiny hatchling corn snake skeleton as painstakingly cleaned, whitened and posed by me. The hatchling never actually hatched and died in the egg, so this is actually a rare reptile embryo articulation.

The skeleton is curled up on a bed of dried moss with dried purple wildflowers and a spear of quartz crystal hugged in its coils. A sprig of wild rosemary and some wee yellow flowers are included along with a few dandelion seeds. A tiny seashell and chunk of pyrite (fool's gold) completes the piece. The skeleton is intact - you can even see incredibly tiny teeth!
That wee baby was a huge PITA to put together like this. One of my trickiest processing jobs to date.

The glass vial is closed with a cork and hangs on a 21 inch silver plate chain with lobster clasp. A short length of silver plate links hangs from the cork, tipped with a polished piece of natural labradorite.
