A new character I have affectionately named Zazen, after coming up with the picture title 'Zen's Garden'. The main idea of the picture was to show a water eastern dragoness in anthro form, proudly displaying her element to the viewer before she waters the japanese cherry blossom trees.
I personally had my doubts about this picture, held it off for a while and then I finally got off my butt and finished it. I'm really proud with how it came out though! This will be one of my artworks that will be sold at an anime convention, AWA, in September.
Why I named her Zazen:
Zazen (坐禅; Chinese zuò chán pinyin or tso-chan Wade-Giles) is at the heart of Zen Buddhist practice. The aim of zazen is just sitting, "opening the hand of thought". For more info: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zazen

Every once in a while an artist just coughs up a picture, could be anything really, that hints to a more skilled artist than the rest of their gallery. I believe this picture to be one such.
You say it didn't take long to do that hair, and you'd know best. But I'll be damned if I've seen hair from you look that detailed before. The colors are the first I've ever seen look as good on the actual pic than on webcam. Your anatomy is perfect and DAMN she's hot! Her underwear of a brighter color really underscores her looks cause it draws all of my attention to her Eastern beauty. Nnnnrrhhh... <.=.<; Ummh.. the background looks really hard worked on aswell, and would you look at that grass... that musta taken a while. I love the water effect. Matches her beauty. <3
...Meko what was up with you? You didn't ask for much help with it, you just... kept getting it right from the first shot with everything. Nor did I hear you grumble about the amount of work involved. Yep. That's what strikes me the most. You just shut up and went about with your pic, no complaints, no grumbles, or at least much less than expected for such a pic... and you simply got everything right. o.=.o Inspiration? I can't find any other explanation. I don't know about Zen practices, but you sure appear to have been 'enlightened' when you drew this.

I like to randomly look around the net about different things, when I knew I was going to do an anthro eastern I thought of what the picture could be about, and then I thought of chinese cultures and practices and Zen popped up in my head, so when I googled it thinking about Zen's Garden = plants = chinese guardian = eastern dragons, I came across zazen and it really stuck with me since. Really inspiring x3 It kept my mind busy while I worked
