Adventurer’s Travels: Atop the World
We need only share a glance to one another before we both approached the keeper of this creature’s pen and spoke. Word of my Lordship had been carried fast, I dare say before I even arrived at the Kingdom as I and my conjurer were easily welcomed onto the back of this beast. While bestial in form and trained to fight, there was no steed gentler that I can imagine. Thousands of times heavier than a horse yet so timid and ginger in every step, this creature was cautious and thoughtful of its every movement in such an intelligent way that left me struck for words. Seeing the people below I couldn’t help but attempt to show off for their enjoyment as this creature strode around its enclosure.
Thoughts drifted back to my meager accomplishments in beast taming. I had minor accomplishments with dogs and wolves, wild horses, and other such common things, my success being little more than common. But imagining the cut of men and the cut of women it would take to find and tame such a towering champion would turn even a champion tamer green with envy.

Yep. I rode an elephant today. It cost 10 dollars and I got to stomp around on the back of a freaking elephant!! That was awesome! Though word to the wise to all would be Elephant riders; you will develop one heck of a case of sea legs after trying to keep your balance on the back of one >.<
