Adventurer’s Travels: His Royal Highness.
It didn’t take a great deal to locate the King, as his rich low voice was lit up in song, merrily entertaining his sons and daughters as he watched the games and his beloved garden. As I approached I was asked not to kneel, but simply called over as he continued his joyful songs and fancy free observance. He seemed to drink all before him into his senses like a fine bouquet. Still, out of propriety I took my knee and knelt before my King with Silverfang’s bite placed squarely to the floor. His singing stopped but the chuckle and light heartedness of his tone never left as he spoke to me in that booming bellow.
While he had not mobilized the forces to tame the lands of Fulmar, he valued my efforts and the weeding out of the wicked of the long abandoned and ruined land where so few still dwelt. My assumptions of the Nymphs was so too proven correct as he spoke of their council. There was a threat in lands far beyond, something which might’ve had a hand in the collapse of the lands of Fulmar and yet stranger troubles in lands much farther with curious reports from a Trademaster and the many strange beasts that dwelt in his land. Before I could speak he granted me the title of Lord, allowing me seniority with less men and guards, able to see his armories for the equipment I needed, and instruction to report back in once a year as I would get leads on these strange happenings. Then, with as merry as a tone as before, I was simply dismissed and sent along to enjoy the rest of my rest at the Kingdom.

Whoever they got to play the king is amazing. He really has the voice for it! I hope you enjoy the little story snippets I whipped up for these ^^' they're not my best work but hopefully they're entertaining for how quickly they were written.
