Adventurer’s Travels: The Magic Folk
My heart raced faster as I drew nearer to the King’s perch. I paid respects at once as the Queen passed to observe the dueling fools and socialize with her close friends and aids. The air grew electric and once more my boots slowed, this time with a sign that set the hairs on the back of my neck to standing. Before me sat a small clan of nymph and other woodland creatures of magic, chirping and trilling merrily as they rested just outside of the garden. I was impressed by this Kingdom’s openness to beast and magic folk before, but for such pure and powerful fairies to dwell her in bulk I knew this was far more than a simple open gate policy. These fairies and sprites knew of a goodness here, had council with this king to share their whispered knowledge, and above all this was a king who listened.
However he had earned their respect, their trust, I didn’t know, but I was frozen as they turned to me and looked not at me; but into me. Smiles quickly melted into their tender faces while some looked at me in shock having not seen one of my cut outside of frothing charges against them, but they were accepting of my presence. They knew something that I didn’t, and whatever they had told the King I somehow fit in to.

Just some story I whipped up to go with the pictures for a light read. I rarely ever dabble in fantasy so hopefully this is okay
