Adventurer’s Travels: The King’s Eyes

While the Air was one of fun and joy, the King of Mosi was not so foolish as to let his people romp and be wild without the threat of consequence to quietly lurk behind them. Having bore witness to our conflict, one of the Knights of the Kingdom halted me and asked to the nature of our scuffle. I assured him such games were but good fun to such old friends and former brothers in battle, to which he seemed put at ease. However, at his request, I was encouraged not to excite the townsfolk so during their festivals and games. They were rowdy enough to control normally, he explained, but after recent attempts on the Castle not but a week before by Barbarians, such a scene could paint the wrong message for the both of us. I was reminded again through my reflection in his helmet that I was far from formally outfitted in my current state, and agreed to avoid such boyish rough-housing. Then to my surprise, the Knight’s tone shifted as I was informed my acts as a vigilante had not gone unnoticed by the King whom was at this moment requesting my audience. I dared not to spur this invitation and made haste to his stage where he had perched himself to observe his games.
