Adventurer’s Travels: The Adventurer
From years of fighting, foraging the badlands of the windswept plains, and hunting, I was in shambles by any polite standards. I was unshaven, bare of the chest aside from my pelt sash, with wild and flared hair, and only barely civil. I had not given it a second thought in so long that I was taken aback when I was offered a new vest to better clothe myself by the Gatekeeper. I graciously accepted as our Faun guide parted ways to enjoy the fruits of the Kingdom. Though it pains me to admit, I was even more surprised to see how welcoming the Kingdom was to non-humans as not a second thought was given to allowing her entrance. Though the air was dry and full of dirt, I drew happily in a breath to taste the civility I had so long starved myself of.

>.> The translation of that being apparently despite Barbarian being a theme there and working up enough confidence from all my working out to dare to go into public without a shirt, I was (AFTER PAYING ENTRY MIND YOU, IN PLAIN VIEW OF THE STAFF IF THEY HAD A PROBLEM WITH MY COSTUME) not allowed to enter the Festival until I covered my chest and had to go in and buy a 50 dollar shirt because I didn’t bring a change of clothing with me. That was the only downside of this trip in all honest.

Hey thanks a lot ^w^ I'm really glad you enjoyed the picture!!
I wouldn't have been so annoyed if they'd have made ANY mention to a dress code on their website or mentioned it BEFORE I paid the 21 bucks to get in. And if I wouldn't have had the 50 something dollars to get the shirt I've have been screwed. Still it was a great fair, it's just that whole event of being told that I was "making people uncomfortable" before I actually got into the fair marred what would've otherwise been a perfect day.
