This was my idea of partially redesign Metal Sonic, racing Sonic, during the really misguided hype on road to the Sonic Boom games. The pic was inspired on that first teaser clip of Burnbot, Eggman's robot for the TV show. Of course, Metal remain the same from his original design.

This goes the same for the other 2 Robot Sonic, Silver Sonic and Mecha Sonic, as first models that confront and are destroy by Sonic, leading up to Metal. But I'm of the opinion Metal should be season finale 2 parter, or a season 2 premire 2 parter.
