Here is the second breed of elves in my fantasy world!

Desert Elves are passionate, confident creatures who live in the hottest regions of the world. They're renowned merchants and traders, and people travel far and wide to visit their markets. Known for their quick wit and sharp tongues, it is considered unwise to attempt trickery in their presence. Desert elves are often envied for their thirst for life, as they rarely deny themselves what their hearts desire; polyamory is the norm, and it's not uncommon to have multiple children from different fathers. They see this as a healthy, communal way to raise their young, and treat their neighbors as though they were family. For although they are wealthy, what they value above all else is friendship.

However, of all the elven breeds, their magic is the weakest. It was not always this way, but centuries of neglecting their skills has resulted in a culture that sees magic as something only to be used for healing, charms, or trinkets.
