First, the large cervine dons a set of nice clothing. This acts as a sort of colorful, elaborate plumage to make himself more visually appealing to his companion for the evening. To show that he is in good financial standing, he wears an expensive timepiece that he would normally have stowed away for safe keeping. What's more, to display his vitality and virility, he is sure to show off his impressive rack.

Finally, it is time to meet his date, but...oh, dear, it seems that his nerves have taken hold. Perhaps he has said something uncouth, or made an erroneous gesture. Either way, the blood rushes to his face, creating a noticeable blush, that may evoke a sympathetic response from his partner.
