I was in the mood to draw a peryton! I'm not sure where the urge came from - I think the peryton is one of the more often forgotten mythological creatures, and I've sure never drawn one before. I guess this one is sort of generic (but self indulgent fun), designwise, but I think i'd like to have some fun in the next while sketching some with more mindfulness towards specific bird blends.

The palette and antlers on this one almost make me want to say it's a peryton version of my character ivy, but theres not nearly enough sass. She would have ridiculous antlers like that though, bless her.
