Brunga was a member of Mikene's Mammalian Warrior Beast Army - theme after a lion, his real face was located in the Warrior Beast's mouth - the Beast was agile, fast,with his sole weapons been his claws and electrical attacks coming from his horns.

He was first and only introduced in the 3rd act of the 1974 OVA Mazinger Z vs The Great General of Darkness, Brunga joined The Warrior Beasts Dante, Mammothdon, Arsoth, Barman, Wardam, Orbee, Argimon and Grosden to kill Koji and Mazinger Z under General Juuma, in response to the destruction of much of the Tokyo attack force. After Mammothdon was destroy and Dante drop Mazinger into a gorge dug by the monsters, Brunga and the others proceeded to torment and destroy Mazinger Z - nearly crushing Koji with his claws and the electrocuting Z after Arsoth impaled him onto the Canyon Wall.

When Great Mazinger arrived and proceeded to dispose of Juuma and the Warrior Beasts, Arsoth and Brunga where ordered to Kill Z, but Great threw one of his swords which impale Brunga on the head - entering from the back and coming out through his human face, killing him.
