As mentioned earlier in one of my works, my concept of the Aurorian Dragon takes place in an alternate universe of our world, and the geography of North America is different in which there is an interior sea. I'll explain more in part 2.
I drew this map of North America and drew the areas where each of the 4 types of Aurorian Dragons resides. You can look at the map legend for more info. The map shows the 4 territories of the Aurorian Dragons, and their territorial boundaries conform to natural features such as rivers and mountain ranges. The boundaries of their territories remained relatively the same since the time of Aurora. In fact, these areas are exactly where the Auras once resided. After the death of Aurora, her five children passed on their new genes as the first Aurorians and over time the population of the Auras diminished. In the early years, they were not united as one nation and there were several tribes of the Auras that retaliated against the Aurorians. Soon, however, they started to form a nation and small tribes became permanent villages, which then over time grew to become major cities of the old era. There are 5 major cities, each one named after the five children of Aurora: Auria, the first-born Alpha Dragon, followed by Ariel, Sol, Tropica, and Atmos. The Capital City of Auria is where the Alpha Dragon lives along with the Chief Guardian. The other 4 guardians reside in the other 4 cities which act a territorial capital city for the region. Together they are able to govern the people of the cities and of the land. In addition, the Aurorians reside in several small villages scattered throughout the land. As for the time period, this map shows the territorial lands of the Aurorians before the explorers from Europe arrived, which spans from the time of Aurora (1940 B.C.) to around the 16th century in human times. I am currently working on a second map (part 2) which shows the Aurorian Lands in conjunction with the current countries of North America in the years after the 30 Year War between the Aurorians and humans. As soon as am done with that I'll upload the second map.
