After going walkies, our dog brought back a large egg in her mouth. I tried to find the nest, but it's in an area of thick, deep grass and I'm afraid of disturbing the nest further or worse, stepping on it. I have also had zero luck with the local humane society.
Can anyone identify this egg? I suspect it's a pheasant egg.
