I was being absent-minded! At one point I had drawn a flight jacket and leather glove-oids on the subject but eventually decided that diverged from the original design a bit too much, and reverted to the sleeveless with tape look, but forgot to remove the glove-oid from the right side hand at first, and eventually decided I liked keeping just the one.
