...fix it anyway and make it better.
Another fantastic pic from
stigmata - Go commission him immediately. It is the law.
You cannot hear it, but that Vanguard engineer is mumbling "Hrrr, Ancestor cursed brain-dead warriors wrecking my beautiful machines... this will take hours to repair!" all the while secretly enjoying it, because engineers are just big kids who love playing with high-tech toys...

The lighting is fantastic on this, was absolutely stoked with the way it looks. And the pose is just... well, let's just say there was a good reason for it
In all seriousness, there are so many great things about this picture. Rather than being a deliberate piece of beefcake, it actually gets down and gritty with what the Vanguard are all about. Not just silly warriors posing all over the place, but also a lot of the more mundane things that go on in their society.
And yes, a nice ass

Last thing you'd want to do is be behind a Vanguard in the queue for the face-buffet, there'd be nothing left.
Part of the more serious thinking behind the multiple arms is that they could hold prey with one set of arms while pulling the flesh/limbs/faces off with the other. Given their tusks are more for display and fighting (and would actually get in the way of 'ordinary' eating), it makes more sense for them to dismember their prey into bite-sized chunks manually.
Not to mention stability when dragging their catch around back to their lairs over rough terrain.

"...fix it anyway and make it better." Aaaaah, the ol' Microsoft credo.
Great pic, nice an' gritty, something you'd expect from mechanics and greasemonkeys, as well as a nice shot of the back muscles on Vanguards. I also daresay it looks like he's about to give his behind a quick little scratch with that tool there, something I have to admit I've been inclined to do while on shop jobs myself... albeit it primarily served as an learning experience to NOT to that with the wrong end of a hammer.
