My sweet boy is finally home. The box is absolutely gorgeous, and I can't believe it. I can tell he got the best care after his passing. The place I went to was SO gentle with him, even after he passed. They've been nothing short of amazing.
It's so good to finally have him back home. Nothing is the same, but at least I have this.
Just know you will always be Mommy's sweet boy, M'aiq. Sleep well, my little prince. Nothing else can hurt you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. We lost my first cat, to FIP, and she was just 7 years old. I was devastated, because it was 3 days before Christmas, that we had to make that terribly, heart breaking decision. I remember my Mom told me I could get another cat, but I didn't want another cat. I wanted her. I was just a Junior in High School, back then. I've only had 2 cats, since her. Both male, and both wonderful. Buddy lived to be 17 & 1/2 years old, before he developed a tumor in his bowel, and I've had Apache, just over 4 years now. There's nothing quite like the love, and affection of a cat. I'm glad that M'aiq is home, and that the place you took him was so good with him, and with you, through his passing. ((Snowmew Hugs)) & Rattie Kisses***
