 Sugardragons are a species of dragon that reside in warm regions (such as subtropical climates, beach fronts, and tropical forests), they are rare to find in dryer or more arid regions and don't do well in the cold.

They are found residing and dwelling in deep and moist caverns, in order to remain close to the crystals that provide their life source. When they are outside, they will often bring along small crystals (embedded in jewelry or kept in a satchel, depending on the size of the crystals they carry) to maintain their energy levels.

The vents found on their necks and/or chests are used to express out extra magic and are usually the same color as their skin and crystal.

Their diets consist mainly of fruit with some meats (red meat, fish, and poultry) supplementing it. Their scales are very fine and soft (much like a gecko), In terms of size, they can vary quite a bit with female Sugardragons ranging from 4' to 5'11, male Sugardragons (being much taller) range between 6'5 and 7'5. There can be anomalies for both (i.e. females that are around 6'5 and males around 4'). Weight varies by height, but females tend to be more on the slender side of the weight spectrum. There can be chubbier Sugardragons, and they aren't looked down upon or judged for being more heavyset than the usual. Males are of course much heavier and muscular, though there can be anomalies with more slender/feminine males and vice versa.

They are normally pastel colored, but can come in a vibrant range of colors. Super dark colors (such as black) are anomalous and it's unknown at this time why some sugardragons are born this way.
