Just a behind-the-scenes peek on how I do thumbnails for the comic.

I get an A4 sheet of paper and draw each page in a half of it. I do it on paper because it makes ideas flows better, and I use an inking pen to make sure I don't lose too much time erasing and correcting things.

I also stopped spending too much time on details once I started doing these way ahead of time and decided to change things on the fly, rendering whole frames useless. So now I put just a general guide of what those frames will be.

But before all that, I write the text for each frame, seeing how much space they'll take and draw the scene and characters around it. The text does change a lot from initial sketching to the final page.

Lastly, the thumbnails are the only part of the comic I do on paper, but it's by far, the most important one, so I make sure to put my fullest into it.
