AGH I LOVE THAT SONG SO SO SO MUCH <3 <3 <3
It really inspired me to draw this piece (hey look an actual art piece. oh and Hono's hubby too)
Hono was once thought as a Chained up demon woman that lived deep in a forest on the edge of a village. The people feared her as there were stories of people seeing her eating people in her home and she would drink their blood as if it was tea. That is some what true, the drinking blood part at least. lolol
Hono couldn't go too far from her home because of her chains on her wrists and neck (put there by her mother and father) So she would always use shadows to trick people (aka her prey) to her and she would kill them in her home.
She wears makeup on her face to make her seem a bit spooky to people. But after meeting a wandering master-less samurai, she instantly fell in love with him. His calm and gentle voice soothing the insanity inside her. He was able to free her from her bonds and took over the village, that became her clan.
With the help of the man she was able to grow her clan in power and numbers. They did marry and had their two kids. 8 years after their son was born, Hono became desperate for blood, animal blood was not soothing her cravings and she killed her husband and drank his blood. This caused her to go insane again and became who is she today (a crazy psychopath, yay!)
Yoru holds a grudge against Hono for killing his father and Shi doesn't really give a shit.
