No one knows for sure where he came from. Some say he just appeared from an egg, which in turn appeared from out of nowhere. Some say he crawled up from under a rock. Others think that he might just be part of a secret experiment. Quarlak himself obviously knows the truth of his origin, or at least that is a safe assumption. He doesn't really care about it, though, he's content with just being alive, being flesh and blood. Being able to cause mayhem.
The blue reptile hailed from the Australian Outback, spending all of his days under the burning sun. He was a very well-known menace to any travellers, who made their journey through those remote locations. While Quarlak was not known for leaving a trail of dead bodies behind himself, he was at least known for getting his greedy hands on anything that he could steal and turn into scraps. Some had woken up to notice that they had been sleeping outside, even if they were quite sure that they had gone to sleep in their comfy, expensive RV, which in turn was nowhere to be found.
Why was Quarlak collecting all that scrap and loot then? Was he just hoarding it all up for the fun of it? Or was he perhaps constructing something from all that material? Whatever the reason, at least one thing was sure: He needed more...and eventually he'd have to travel elsewhere to sate that need.
Abilities/Fighting Style/Weapons:
Quarlak doesn't possess any magical abilities or enhanced, robotic limbs. The big reptile relies solely on what was given for him at birth, those being his sharp teeth and claws, together with long limbs, which had quite the reach, if needed.
His fighting style ranged from sly and cunning, to a pure, blind rage. It all depended on the situation and his opponent. He usually preferred getting in close range, as that was obviously the ideal distance for his claws and teeth to do their damage. Besides those sharp ends, his body was also coated with several spikes here and there. Those pointy tips weren't just for show, as those getting in a hand's reach would find out, if they weren't careful and observant enough.
Thanks to his scrap collecting ”hobby”, Quarlak was able to produce makeshift weapons with relative ease. His trusty, go-to weapon was a sharp hook, attached to a long chain that was wrapped around his arm and body. While it offers him a chance to wrap up his opponent and slash at them with his sharp claws and blade combined, it can also lead to Quarlak wrapping himself up in an inconvinient way, leaving him in a vulnerable position for his enemies to strike at.
Misc
He really, really likes mangos.
