Sculpted a test piece to test out glass eyes before using them in commissions in case anything went wrong.
Well, the test was successful! :D No cracking of the glass or paint, no scorching of the clay around it, and no darkening of the paint that I notice.
The eyes are extremely shiny and have a following effect. I definitely love them!
I'll likely be offering the option in commissions from now on. Of course, they can still opt out since I know following effects make some people uneasy. :P
The eyes are made of clear glass cabochans with painted backs. I prepared 10mm for this, but they were too big so I used 8mm instead.
Thanks to Rivalmit for pointing me in the right direction for these!

A tiny Tater? Would that make this a Tater Tot? lol, joking aside this looks absolutely phenomenal! You have an expert talent in bringing these wonderful characters into the real world with the same look, energy, and life as their animated counterparts!! Seriously, your skill for sculpting is beyond reproach and it brightens my day every time I get to see one of these masterpieces in my inbox! And I'm already having a great day! I got the starter in my car to work after 22 years of sitting after a failed start earlier, I have a friend over all the way from KC Missouri, and this STILL somehow made me happier to see! She looks like you lifted her right out of one of your drawings! As you can imagine since I'm restoring a car I'm tight on funds, but when I have spare money I HAVE to get in contact with you to make one of these incredible pieces for me! Thank you for the upload!
Thank you so much! ;w;
Oh, congrats on the car! I can't believe you got up and running after 22 years of sitting, that's pretty awesome. And glad to hear you got to see your friend. ^o^
No worries, times are tough these days. I'll be here when you're ready. ^^ Thanks for your kind words as always, glad you are enjoying my work!

I don't think that even the black hearted Davy Jones himself could help but smile at these lovely and talented works! lol and it's not running yet entirely, but the Starter is spinning. There's some electrical fault somewhere keeping the ignition from working which is keeping me from getting the engine itself to turn over. But this is a huge step in restoring her ^w^ I just need to track down these ticks.
And my friend, your work is more than deserving of kind words ^w^ You put so much time and effort into it all and it really shows!!
