Vulzards are avian/lizard type creatures evolved from tree-climbing ancestors. They've got four arms and prehensile tails, and naturally claws. Vulzards have a very strict code of honor that prevents them from building automatic firearms. This particular vulzard doesn't seem too concerned with that, but most won't have anything with more bullets than a revolver. Their assumption is that if you can't do it with one bullet, don't do it at all.
