Heya everfur, it's
Ghosty writing :3
It was already pretty warm in sunny today in Germany ... so I decided to start off the grilling season with some nommy meat, sausages and of course grilled vegetables.
What? You didn't expect me to disregard veggies, did you? :3
Not too much of a recipe, just a few general ideas I whipped up that turned into a nice plate of mixed grill.
And here we have:
- Marinated pork belly (For example: Whip up a quick marinade of dark beer, rosemary, thyme, sage, salt, pepper, garlic and a bit of lemon juice, let the meat marinade a few hours)
- coarse bratwurst
- corncob with butter (if you want to save time on the grill cook your corncobs for about 15 minutes in water with a pinch of sugar)
- grilled zucchini (Cut thick slices, brush them with some olive oil and season them with some good quality curry powder and salt)
- grilled stuffed tomato and stuffed chestnut mushrooms with homemade Feta cream (Take Feta (the real stuff, made from sheep's milk), garlic, fresh herbs (parsley, thyme, oregano, basil), the cleaned stalks of the chestnut mushrooms and chop everything very finely. Add some olive oil and work everything into a cream. Season to your taste with salt, pepper and Baharat)
Enjoy :)
