One thing I've found fascinating bout Necrozma is that his body looks like a dragon that turned into a mech. makes me wonder if he will have significance in an upcoming game or not.

It hints at connections with the UBs and it came to this world in ancient times. My guess is that when it came through the Ultra Wormhole, it was disoriented and turned violent. I'd bet even Solagleo and Lunala were unable to contain it as it absorbed their powers.

The way I see it, Necrozma absorbs and refracts light ,being a prism and all, so I assume it may have other forms depending on what kind of light is absorbed, Solagleo's sunlight or Lunala's moonlight.

That's an interesting theory to say the least.

Guess we just gotta hope that Pokemon Stars is a real thing and coming out soon for either the switch or 3DS

Another theory to take into account is that this Pokémon is NOT an Ultra Beast itself, so it could also be an Ultra Wormhole traveler and it's flying around to avoid the UBs and go to an area where there's less hostility, aka the very hill you capture it

Because of the Ultra Beasts as Solgaleo, Lunala, and Necrozma are related to them.
