IDK who it is, but the sentiment is definitely felt. It's awesome and tugs at the heart strings!
To the unnamed uni, I hope things start looking up -or- you make it through whatever you're facing.
And about the brush pen...it adds something to some pics. Like this pic. It is beautiful and I think the pen added to that.
