The beautiful, red-colored gem that Kyrio pulled from the chest seemed innocent enough. He didn't know what to expect from it, but he braced himself, closed his eyes, and waited to see what would happen.

Sure enough, he heard the voice in the gem: "Surprising that one with such a blue coloration to choose a red gem. Certainly, you'll be seeing plenty of red on the planet you're going to. ...Just be careful of this one space marine. He's... not exactly the negotiating type."

Kyrio felt the gravity around him decreasing immensely. Everything seemed lighter. And yet, he himself felt several times heavier and thicker. Kyrio opened his eyes to see the muscular and yet monsterous frame of what he'd become. At least he still had his hair... even if it was the only solidly blue thing for miles.

It's like I'm going out of my way to draw the most difficult, complex creatures possible. XP

Seriously, this one was VERY challenging and required a TON of study, so I hope I got it right. Overall, I'm pretty happy with the proportions and the stance. I think I might be getting the hang of drawing hulking, brutish characters... I hope.

Anyway, yeah. I saw my roommate fighting one of these on the new Doom, so I was like "Yep, that's gotta be a thing," and the rest is history.
