I've played around with quite a number of styles since first making art on this site, but now I need your help!
I can't make up my mind on which style is the best, so I'd like to see what everyone else thinks.
If you can, tell me which of these three you prefer the most, and if you too can't decide on just one, perhaps recommend a combination of two styles that you think would work well.
Part two, dealing with shading can be found here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/22981057/

Ahhh! You rock each style! It's neat that you can do different styles! Style one is more recognizable! I've noticed that simplicity is effective. Take Bendy and the Ink Machine and Layers of Fear for example! Both are quite similar in using ink and paint instead of blood and both are horror games. However if I showed you the wife's ghost from Layers of Fear and Bendy from Bendy and the Ink Machine, Bendy would be more recognizable at a glance because he is very simple and stylized. The ghost wife has tons of details and is your generic twitchy horror ghost. If I take a glance at her I would have no idea what game she is from. The human eye is the king of taking in information, however the less details are there, the quicker it is for the eye to recognize it! All three styles are amazing but I love style one the most :) Definitely use it for animating!
Style three is great too! My style changes depending on my mood and patience at the time. All three styles suit your talent nicely :) yo should utilize them how you see fit and depending how you feel at the time!

I've settled on using style one for animations and other quick pieces that I'll do in the future. As for everything else, I've chosen a hybrid of two and three to use which I believe looks the best. I totally agree that simplicity can be extremely memorable, it's a lot like the whole video games vs graphics debate. You don't need good graphics to make a good game, it just has to be a good game.
