Macopa University: RIOT HIGH
I wanted to flesh out the world where Gwen and Michiko lives in as separate from Clint's or the NR Project's.
The way I envisioned it, theirs would be sort of a mix of Ouran Host Club, Hana Yori Dango, Tenjo Tenge, and Ranma 1/2. Gwen and Michiko attend highschool at Macopa University where the school policy is inclined towards the appreciation and progression of the human spirit trough martial arts. The guys that I used in my Philippine Fauna pic series end up as their support characters... of course this means that will also be proficient in martial arts. Oddly, I picked their disciplines before giving them their names...
Tarsier - Boxing
Pilandok - Yaw Yan
Haribon - Capoeira
Maya - Pro Wrestling
Tamaraw - Kali
Alamid - German Fencing

Cool, I have a similar project, but less light-hearted. I scrapped that because it was heavilly inspired by Vulcano High school and when naruto came out it felt like a mix of both.
