Originally she was going to be an adopt, but as I started drawing her, I fell in love, and I decided to integrate her as Christoph's mother because ayyy why not?

Not 100% sure on her name just yet, but I'm thinking Madrigan? Who knows, you guys know how I am with names, haha.

Anyway! Madrigan is a pure blooded Eldritch, who, much like her son, tends to be a bit...dense....She's very friendly, yes, but she rarely realizes how off putting her cephalopodic appearance is, especially considering the fact that she is 100% capable of shifting to a fully humanoid form like Christoph. This is only further complicated by the fact that she greatly values her looks and spends ages in making sure she looks as gorgeous as possible, no matter the occasion.

On terra firma, Madrigan tends to wear a modified facial respirator so that she is better able to breathe the oxygen rich atmosphere upon which the majority of the species on Earth thrive upon. This doesn't mean she's unable to process the oxygen, but, similar to Christoph, the process of respiration results in her exhaling nitrous oxide, something that...might not be the healthiest for other species, all things considered. Therefore, out of consideration for the non-eldritch creatures around her on Earth, she wears the respirator to prevent such hallucinogenic emissions.

As a result of her age, Madrigal's powers of reality warping are far more advanced than Christoph's, and she can frequently be seen responding to things in multiple dimensions at once, which can make interactions...interesting, to say the least. Some days she may seem to be fully aware and in the moment, while others, she'll be responding to questions asked years or even centuries into the future. Despite this, her cheery nature always seems to shine through, and it's hard to not end up enjoying her company, rather you want to or not. (Though the nitrous oxide certaily helps things)

In any case, Madrigan is extremely proud of her son, Christoph, and will take any opportunity to fawn over him, regardless of whether he is cognizant of their familial relationship or not. She is the perfect picture of a loving mother, and she's always happy to whip up a batch of cookies or ambiguous confectionaries to celebrate literally -any- occasion. ...Of course, her definition of "cooking" is almost certainly exceedingly different from what a regular person would think, so it's best that you leave the food on the plate in this case. Regardless, Madrigan has always done her best for her family, and any excuse to visit her "beloved baby boy" is taken with incredible haste.

Tbh Jared still has no idea what to think of her. Bringing her into his fold of necromancers would spike their overall power levels through the roof, but....considering how unstable Christoph is with even his watered down abilities, keeping Madrigan around is like playing with fire. And the fire is also radioactive. And..ok, yeah, just a bad idea all around.
