So... after pretty much exactly a year... I have for you a new comic page.
The story continues. It's looking good for me and my drawing, as Me and my dear
ThrakenaHeart actually manages to sit down for a bit during the weekends to draw and paint together. That will give me many good opportunities to do my work during the week and do my arts during the weekend, in peace.
It doesn't look too good for poor Haze though... any person with sence would have told him not to strain himself and go sparring right after getting his entire torso and back stitched together... But Haze is a typical "medics nightmare". He's not very good at keeping himself spotless.
I like were my watercolor skills are going. I feel like even though I haven't been very active, I've managed to pick up some new skills and ideas. You might see that there's less "highlights" in the page, as I think I went a bit excessive on that point for some pages. In its place, I'm trying to work more on value and contrasts to make the image popp.
One last thing. You maight have noticed that Kane has Haze's parchment colored speechbubbles. That's because I've decided not too divide different characters by colors. That's what the arrows are for. This is so that my job will be easier and so that I can use the other colors for special moments and effects. I believe that knowing who says what before even identifying where the text comes from kind of screws with the tempo of the page-reading. So, frome here on, I will use the same color on the speechbubbles for all characters. The letters might vary though.
