Funny I should see this now. Just last night I watched "Krull", and in was this magician who was always threatening to turn other people into animals, but each time it was him who got turned. It didn't happen, but I kept thinking that part of how they beat the villain should be the magician offering to turn the villain into a dragon, and then the magician becomes a dragon and wreaks havoc on the villain and/or his forces.
