Is this on a piano, or is it electric? If it is acoustic, what mic placement did you use? I like the sound you are getting.

I use a keyboard for all my recordings. :) Although, it's a very nice keyboard, so you can choose like..."Open" piano, or "closed", or "muffled", and all the different kinds of variations. :D

actually your thinking a MIDI Instrument Set. Most keyboards now can simulate the sound as if it were the real thing

lol say that to Yamaha they are the ones who made my keyboard and its from 1989. bloody thing has the best sounding MIDI Grand Piano sound i've heard. even has touch sensitivity.

The Hymn is just such a beautiful thing. It's one of the things that makes me regret trading in FFX. >_<

According to both the SquareENIX and Nobuo's website, they refer to the name (in English) as "Isn't it Beautiful?".
