Oh god, It just makes me picture a kindergarden aged Dawn in a stomach costume on stage timidly reciting why it's important to ruminate even if you think you chewed the food well enough the first time in order to keep your stomach healthy. She could probably barely keep it together with all the eyes on her, poor little gal.

I was toying with the idea of doing a one-shot or a series of asks in like a parallel timeline where Dawn's Father wasn't abusive, and so she ends up not growing up with a forced pred bias that lead to the whole night howler thing. That kind of thing opens up the possibility for a 'Dawn and Vern' growing up series...could be fun.
